San Marzano Tomatoes DOP with Basil

We searched high and low for the perfect jarred tomatoes,and we finally found it! It is our pleasure to introduce San Marzano DOP tomatoes from Casa Marrazzo. These are the real deal- tomatoes from the famed Agro Sarnese Nocerino region of the Sarno River valley near Mount Vesuvius in Campagna. Deep red in color, these very special plum tomatoes are bright with acidity and carry a distinctive earthyness. Seasoned here with just a touch of basil, this jar needs little more before it's ready to become bolognase, arrabiata or even tomato soup.
