Rhododendron Honey

Rhododendron honey is a rarity and intentionally so. Produced high in the mountains and harvested in June and July, yields shift from year to year with the alpine climate, which means no two seasons are alike and supply is always limited. When it's gone, it's gone until next summer.

The flavor is characteristic and gently pungent, the aroma delicately floral, and the texture creamy and crystallized from the jar. A natural pairing for aged cheeses — Cauda Miele suggests it alongside a warm flan.
